What if I told you?
What if I told you that four dollars could provide a vaccine for
typhoid to a child?
What if I asked you to not buy a starbucks coffee for a week and use
that money to give women a voice in the Congo to end the brutal
massacres that are happening there?
What if I told you to look at the images that you don't want to believe?
What if I told you that the 160 thousand people that died in the
Tsunami are wives, husbands and children of survivors?
And if I told you of a child, taken and kidnapped for the purpose of
Trafficking?
Would you do something then?
What would it take for you to give up a few minutes, a few moments of
you life to make a difference, because you have the power?
Would you do something then?
Dear Friends and Family,
The above is a poem
I wrote to open your eyes to the ability to do something.
My attempts in establishing the Little Hathi store, is to provide a
forum for each of us to have a voice and means to help victims of
international conflict, whether it is due to natural disaster, genocide
or international improvement. I am happy to say that many of you have
supported my artistic endeavors, and encouraged my hobby, while at the
same time, making a contribution to support the children affected by the
Tsunami.
Visit us at :
www.cafepress.com/littlehathi to take a look at the cards, journals,
calendars and picture frames available for purchase for yourself or to give to those
you love. And in return you will be giving a little of your heart to the
children impacted by the Tsunami.
Best,
~Tanveer
